Into the Jungle I Shall Go

Photo courtesy Wikipedia. This is the town of Rurrenabaque
My uncle (or in spanish Tio) Rolo talked to my mom, and he told her that he will take me down to this small, rural town in Bolivia called Rurrenabaque. This town of Rurrenabaque is in the Amazon region. It's off of a river. I've barely been into Appalachia. So, not knowing what an American jungle/ forest looks like, I have no idea what to expect going into the Amazon. I'm very excited, but I have no idea what to expect.

My cousin came to visit Maryland once from Rurrenabaque. He had this mosquito bite that grew to be the size of a BASEBALL on his leg! We had to take him to the doctor. It was a mosquito bite that got infected. He LIVES in Bolivia too. I don't know what I'll do if I get a mosquito bite that turns into the size of a baseball... that's just crazy.

I bet this can only get more complicated, with getting the proper immunizations and all. Bolivia, with all of your intimidating Amazon jungle towns, here I come.
